Ameris Bank is committed to supporting local community initiatives with a mission to create a more inclusive world that embraces differences. We proudly partner with the Urban League, the National Center for Civil and Human Rights in Atlanta, Georgia, and numerous other local organizations.


Our teammates are passionate volunteers of their time and talents to support the advancement of marginalized populations and the growth of acceptance and inclusion of all. In addition to volunteering year-round, companywide, our team members are encouraged to volunteer or pledge to volunteer on the Martin Luther King Day of Service, supporting our shared vision with Dr. King of the power in neighbors working together to build a better future.


Developing our leaders for success inside and outside our bank walls is priority. Strong leaders fuel our growth and strengthen our communities. Through our Ameris Bank Leadership Development Program and Mentor Ameris, we challenge everyone to advance their leadership skills.
