With over 10 years of SBA experience, Corey Townsend, Senior Vice President, and Business Development Officer Manager, specializes in mergers and acquisitions, expansions, and recapitalizations. Corey is a graduate of Auburn University with a degree in Economics. In addition, he received a master’s degree in finance from Georgia State University and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Thurgood Marshall School of Law in Houston. Though he is an attorney by trade, Corey spent over a decade as a private wealth advisor prior to joining Ameris Bank. In his spare time Corey enjoys outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, tennis, and golf.
