Online Banking FAQs
You can change your debit card PIN by:
- Log in to Online Banking
- Click "My Cards"
- Select a Debit Card and set your preferences
- Click "Update your card PIN" and follow the prompts on your screen

If you signed up for online banking when you opened your account, you'll receive two secure emails within 24 hours, or on the first business day, after your account opening confirmation email. These emails will contain your online banking user ID and temporary password.
To log in, visit amerisbank.com and enter your user ID and the temporary password in the login box. You will be asked to create a new password.
If you didn't sign up for online banking when you opened your account online, visit amerisbank.com to enroll into online banking.
Ameris Bank Online Banking stores up-to-date history on all of your authorized accounts. The amount of history available may vary depending on the type of account.
Only transfers that are in a scheduled status can be canceled. If you do not see the option to cancel your transfer, the transaction is either in processing, pending or has posted.
You can find your account number in Online Banking or the Ameris Bank Mobile Banking App. Click your account and then click the eye icon next to your account number to reveal the entire number.
You can also find your account number on a recent statement, the documentation you received when you opened your account, or at the bottom of your checks.
If you have an international phone number, intend to have one or are planning on traveling internationally, please contact your local branch to ensure you will have access to your online banking accounts. You will then be able to access your account via desktop, but not the Ameris Bank mobile app.
