Reporting Lost or Stolen Cards

An immediate report will help prevent future fraudulent activity. If you have lost your Ameris Bank ATM, Debit Card or Credit Card, or if any of these cards have been stolen, immediately call the appropriate number listed below. Upon calling, follow a series of prompts to report the lost or stolen card. After we receive your report of your lost or stolen card, we will immediately freeze your current card in an effort to prevent any future fraudulent activity.

  • Lost or Stolen Ameris Bank Debit Cards: Call 800.236.2442
  • Lost or Stolen Ameris Bank Credit Cards: Call 877.334.0460, select option 2

Report a suspicious email or possible fraudulent activity: Contact Ameris Bank at 866.616.6020 and file a customer complaint with the FTC. If you believe your personal information has been compromised, immediately contact Ameris Bank.
