How We Help
Since its formation in 2020, the Ameris Foundation has provided more than $184,000 in grants to support our mission with an additional $200,000 in forecasted contributions.
This includes giving to causes such as the American Heart Association, Muscular Dystrophy Association, the Ronald McDonald House and the Wesley Woods Foundation.
The Foundation has also provided $50,000 in grants to organizations including the The Takeoff Scholarship, the Moving in the Spirit program, the National Association of Minority Contractors and Young Harris College.
In 2022 the Ameris Foundation established the Courageous Fund, which provides grants to Ameris Bank teammate experiencing financial hardships.
