Ameris Bank Mortgage Banker Tracey DeLong was recently recognized by the Charleston Home Builders Association as its 2017 Mortgage Loan Officer of the Year. This awards program was developed in 1988 by the Charleston Home Builders Association’s Sales and Marketing Council to recognize excellence in the fields of sales, marketing and promotion of new homes. DeLong was recognized at the 29th Annual PRISM Awards Ceremony in Charleston.

Tracey closed $16.9 million in new construction loans for Beazer and Crescent Homes from August 2016 through July 2017. Throughout her career at Ameris Tracey has increased her production from $9 million in 2014 to just over $30 million in 2016. Tracey is a twice-awarded Ameris President’s Circle award winner based on volume and customer service.

Tracey is a team player both at work and in her personal life, serving as a sponsor and athlete mentor for Tri It For Life and is a six-time half-ironman finisher. She is a local member for Business Networking International. Tracey enjoys her involvement with the Charleston Homebuilders Association and her involvement with their Sales and Marketing Council.
