Ameris Bank, the largest community bank by deposit market share in Jacksonville, celebrated the opening of the company’s executive offices in the Riverplace Tower in downtown Jacksonville.
Many city, business and community leaders, including Dr. Charles Moreland with the Office of Mayor Curry, Greg Anderson with the Jacksonville City Council and Daniel Davis with the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce, joined Ameris Bank CEO Edwin W. Hortman, Jr. and President Andy Cheney at the event to celebrate the company’s continued growth in Jacksonville.
“Our commitment to Jacksonville and Northeast Florida reaches far beyond new branches and the addition of our executive team headquarters,” said Edwin W. Hortman, Jr., Ameris Bank CEO. “Ameris Bank is a high-performing institution, and we are also a community bank with plans to provide exceptional service to our customers and be a champion for members in the community for years to come.”
A state-of-the-art branch designed for customer-employee engagement will open in the lobby of Riverplace Tower on July 11, to serve Ameris Bank customers.
In addition to joining the Jacksonville skyline with its name atop the Riverplace Tower, Ameris Bank remains committed to the Northeast Florida area with the recent acquisition of The Jacksonville Bank and the bank serving as the title sponsor of the Ameris Bank Jacksonville Marathon to be held in December.
