Jeff Graves and Tom Croom Join Ameris Bank in Tampa
Ameris Bank Market President Bill Lutes announces that Jeff Graves and Tom Croom have joined Ameris Bank as a senior commercial banker and senior vice president regional credit officer, respectively. Graves will be responsible for expanding commercial banking relationships throughout the area, capitalizing on Ameris Bank’s wide breath of treasury services and commercial lending options. Croom will be responsible for the oversight of all aspects of credit administration for the Tampa and Orlando areas, and he will provide leadership, direction, and collaboration within the credit administration team and process.
A seasoned career banker with decades of commercial banking experience, Graves previously worked for prior institutions such as Barnett Bank and Chase. He most recently was a senior vice president with CenterState Bank.

Graves is a dedicated community member and is a former president of the Risk Management Association, Tampa Bay Chapter. He graduated from Lipscomb University with a bachelor’s of science in finance and management. Graves currently resides in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Prior to joining Ameris Bank, Croom was a senior vice president wholesale risk director for Central Florida at City National Bank of Florida and BCI Capital, the leasing division of City National Bank for four years.

Croom graduated from the University of South Florida and earned his MBA from Nova Southeastern University. He enjoys spending time with his family, listening to country and bluegrass music and cycling. Croom currently resides in Seminole, Florida.
