Ameris Bank Names Harris O. Pittman, III President for Alabama.

Dothan, AL, Ameris Bank is please to announce the promotion of Harris O. Pittman, III as the company's President for Alabama. Pittman's new responsibilities will include overseeing the bank's production for all locations in Alabama.

In making the announcement, John Hipp, Executive Vice President and Banking Group President stated, "Harry has demonstrated an outstanding level of leadership and business development in his years at Ameris Bank. We are excited to award him this promotion and have confidence that Harry will continue to lead our Alabama team towards success."

In addition to his newly elected role, Pittman will continue to oversee operations of Ameris Bank locations in Colquitt, Georgia and Donalsonville, Georgia.
